We use limewash and mineral paints on brick and stone, inside and out. These are not the same as regular house paint. Mineral coatings bond into absorbent masonry and stay breathable, so moisture can leave the wall instead of getting trapped under a film that peels in Texas heat. Limewash gives a softer, washed look that still shows some of the brick or stone. Mineral paint, such as Romabio Masonry Flat, gives a solid flat color that still reads as masonry, not as a painted wall. Both need clean, sound masonry. We wash the surface, check for old sealer or paint that would block the coating, and tell you up front if the wall will not take it. Color can update a dark or yellowed stone, quiet down a busy brick, or pull mixed stone and brick on the same house into one look without turning the place into a blank box. Call (817) 829-9524 if you want us to look at the masonry and say which product actually belongs on it.
